//Making blanket forts is a great way to teach knot skills to otters! They also love to play in them after they are assembled. Here the blanket fort activity is paired with a craft project, but you could substitute another activity if it works better for your group.//

  * Opening Ceremony

  * Teach the reef knot and the sheet bend

    * Help the kids tie the knots they learned to make the forts
  * Hang out in the forts for snack & story time
