Trail or Park Clean Up
Cleaning up a local park or trail is a great way to take care of your community. You can partner with a local organization or the local parks and recreation department if they are holding a clean up, or you can bring your own supplies and do a clean up during one of your meetings. Depending on where you are cleaning up, you may need to be mindful of hazardous materials and consider the age of your scouts. Gloves and litter pickers are always a good idea.
